Ruby was my first home-bred champion and first whippet champion.  Ruby was from my second whippet litter and was originally owned by Marti Bradford. She is out of Chaparral Genuine Risk and by Elain-Ward's SilverShadow Rolls, SC, F.CH.  She now lives as a therapy dog with Dina Bailey in Kansas.
Juls was bred by Pam Lambie, out of CH. Galewind Lambay Aspen and by Starline's Lone Starr, Juls was a spur of the moment purchase. I saw her in a ex-pen at the Lompoc, CA shows and fell in love with her.  She was my second whippet champion and produced many quality puppies that are well on their way to their championships.

Alicia is my third champion and second home-bred.  Out of my Ruby and CH. Alcyon Runamok Nautilus, Alicia quickly became the apple of my eye and the best little show dog ever.  She lives for the ring and the attention that comes with showing.  I think everyone had a hand in her accomplishments, the top being handled to a group one win from the classes over specials by Mary Dukes and just missing out receiving a AOM at the 2005 national by being handled by myself.  She also produced my fourth champion, CH. Chaparral Emmy Of Elain-Ward, JC.
Emmy is out of Alicia and Elain-Wards Third Times ACharm and is owned by Shelley Hennessy of Chaparral Hounds.  Shelley bred Emmy's great grandmother, Chaparral Genuine Risk and wanted a bitch that went back to her lines.  Fortunately for Shelley, Alicia had two puppies in her first litter, 1 boy and 1 girl.  Emmy is the product of the blending of my two lines (see "In The Beginning") and had started her career in lure coursing, agility and rally obedience.  Unfortunately Emmy lost her young life to accident just short of her fourth birthday.

Teddy is my fifth champion and the first of what I call my Juls lines and the "kiss" litter.  He is out of Elain-Ward's String Of Pearls and by CH. Sunbeam Rembrandt Of Endeavor, JC.  He was owned by Jaa Gilbert and Julie Konwent throughout his show career.  He is the sire of Elain-Ward's Green 'N' Gold Of Wild West and of a few other puppies from the litter that show a lot of promise.  Teddy now resides with Julia and Ron Borden and lives the life of Rielly in Tempe, AZ.
Nicky is the second of the "kiss" boys to finish their championship and is my 6th champion.  I put his first point on and Amanda Clevenger took over from there.  Nicky finished his championship in 2 1/2 months with three majors!  Nicky now lives in TX with Lianna Hall and will be shown selectly as a special and will be Lianna's Junior's dog.
Eddie  Third of the "kiss" boys and originally owned and shown by Shon Michael.  Eddie won WD, BW and BOS over specials for his first major.  He followed that up a couple of weekends later winning the same for his second major.  He finished with 4 majors.  Eddie is owned by Shon Michael and Julie Konwent.

Maggie is the apple of her father's eye, Shon that is.  My prima donna is out of Alicia and Ch. Festiva's Hot-As-Hell, (who is now owned by Fairsky Kennels in Australia).  Spoiled rotten and proving to be by far the best Elain-Ward has produced to date.  She is out of Alicia who was taken back to a male that had Sporting Field lines behind him bringing my lines full circle.  A very curvy girl who has the smoothest side gate ever and is extremely quick witted.  Maggie has the love of the show ring like her mother and will be specialed lightly while growing up before making her way to the litter box to have puppies late in 2012.

Boo was loved, trained and handled to most of his points by his co-owner, Angie.  Kelly Riney who owns the lovely sire of Boo helped show and stepped in for Angie occasionally and is pictured with Angie finishing Boo.  Boo is the first of the Mythical litter to finish, all but one of his siblings are pointed.  Boo now lives with Alan Andacht and Michael Maher waiting his turn as a sire.
Charlie took a while to finish his championship but is well deserving of it.  He was shown to all but three of his points by Shon Michael, his best buddy in the world!  Having proved himself as a reliable sire (Ch.Chaparral Emmy Of Elain-Ward, SC, RN, RA and Elain-Ward's Julia Child), Charlie can now retire at Elain-Ward.
